"Ride On Baby," The Rolling Stones. Except it wasn't the Stones' version in my head at 4:20 a.m. No, it was a weak as piss version by a band made up for some weak as piss movie about making in the music biz. Annoyed the fuck out of me until 5:30 when my alarm went off.

Sucked ass.

"Stay Away From Downtown," by Redd Kross.  Actually, this song was there yesterday morning, but I just remembered to write about it today.  Super LA 80's punk band, Redd Kross, is back. Maybe they never left, but they sure were hard to find.

The new sound is pure power pop, and super catchy; hence, stuck in my thick skull.  Find it, listen, and you'll see why.  Great hook, guitars, and refrain.
